We had supper tonight with a couple from Belgium. They always thought about the Camino but did little else about it. Last fall their city put a trail behind their home. After a bit of research they found the trail was connected to a second trail that connected to the Camino. So this July they had a big breakfast party on their deck on a Saturday morning and in front if thier family and friends they put their packs on and walked across their backyard and started walking to Santiago. 2200 km. They have 550 to go. Amazing.

Well.... that's one root cause of Euro zone financial troubles, people are just walking the Camino.... That is Amazing......
