Okay the Spanish have us beat when it comes to garbage and recycle collection. They have these igloo shaped pods everywhere. One pod for garbage, one for glass, one for corrugated and so on. You deliver your waste to the pod and a truck (shown) comes and empty the pods. Therefore, there is no pickup day. Too simple. Almost like a reverse postal super box.
